Apple: Most Trusted Smartwatch


Technology is more advanced than it has ever been. Apple has been one of the most popular brands in recent memory and they continue to impress their customers. Everywhere you go, you see someone with some type of Apple product, whether it’s the iphone, airpods, or even a macbook. Apple is making their presence known! An underrated product that they have would be the apple watch and owning one has been a big help in my fitness life.

The apple watch was first introduced in 2015 and they upgrade them just about each year adding cool features. Even though it’s a smartwatch, it’s pretty powerful and can do almost anything the iphone can do. Apple Watches can call people, it can locate lost apple products and most importantly track workouts which is personally my main usage. Without the watch, I honestly don’t know how I would be able to track how many calories I've burned during  a workout.

If you are looking to get into fitness, I would recommend investing in a smartwatch. When I close all of my rings and earn rewards, I feel like I accomplished something and it happens daily. Of course you can set the limits to your own standards but that feeling is unmatched. It can also be another motivational tool for some. It doesn’t have to be apple, it could even be a fitbit, however I think that smartwatches are very handy and save people like myself a lot of time and are definitely worth it.

A well-known and popular example is the VR headset that was sold by a company called Oculus which was bought and rebranded by Meta in 2014. Using this headset one image is in front of each eye while sensors are used for tracking movements from the real world to the virtual world. This can lead to an immersive experience to the user physically, mentally and emotionally in some cases.

There are several fitness apps in the store that are available to download or purchase after a free trial. These apps range from a more traditional fitness routine such as boxing to even having a personal trainer at a gym. There are no added pieces of equipment to use other than the headset and game controllers; which also means not putting away bulky equipment.
